Each tree has the bark removed, it is then leaned and sanded by hand. After being dried and strengthened in a large oven for a month it is then ready for the base to be made. These are made by hand, each one to suit the specific tree.
The tree is sawn near the crown and fitted with stainless steel rods and tubing so you can safely and securely fit the tree to the base.
