Scarletts Parrot Essentials is the trading name of Scarletts Parrot Essentials Ltd.


Under the United Kingdom's and EU Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 14 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. Any foods returned must be unopened and in the original condition they were sent out as do any items which come into close contact with the birds such as harnesses.

You have the right to cancel your order within 30 working days or report any faults, starting the day after you receive your goods. Please pack the relevant items securely and send them to us in their original packaging, unused and with labels with the delivery slip. In order that the postal and delivery dates are recorded and for your protection in the case of loss, where you are returning an item to us, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
All goods must be returned in their original packaging and any damaged goods must be signed for as damaged upon receipt. Any goods which are not in the exact original packaging with labels may be subject to a 25% re stocking charge or not refunded at all.
Any cages refused for any reason other than damage will be subject to a return fee and an initial carriage fee
Any damages or shortages must be reported within 7 days of ordering

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. 

If returned items then leave the total order under the £100 free delivery mark carriage will be deducted

Once an order is dispatched, if you refuse to accept the delivery of the item for any reason other than severe damage you will be charged the return fee and not refunded the initial carriage charge.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund either the full amount or the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

Cages are delivered by pallet courier. If you are not in to receive delivery of a cage there is a £35 re delivery charge. If a cage is damaged and you have not signed for as damaged upon receipt we cannot offer a refund. You must retain all original packaging at all times.

If you receive an item damaged we have the right to replace any damaged parts.

All products are subject to change. Colours and actual sizes may vary. Food ingredients may vary due to seasonal ranges.

 Scarletts accepts no liability for damage or injury while using any of its products and always recommends birds are supervised while using them.
Payments are taken using a secure merchant service facility, all goods must be paid for before dispatch and all cheques cleared.
Once you have placed your order and your payment has been accepted a legally binding contract has then been formed that we will despatch the goods to you, and your authentic payment is accepted for the goods.
All prices are subject to change, goods will be charged at the price advertised on our website at the time of order. Accidental errors can occasionally occur and will be corrected as soon as possible, should a wrong price be displayed on the website the actual price will be chargeable.
All orders are subject to a postage and packaging charge which must be adhered to, there are certain areas outside uk mainland which we cannot deliver to.
You must undertake that all details you give us are correct and there are sufficient funds to cover the payment, and that the credit/debit card is your own.
Customers details are confidential and will not be passed on to any third parties
Scarletts reserves the rights to refuse sale to any we deem as illegitimate or untrustworthy.
Our size guides are there as a guide only, all birds should be judged by the owner as individuals and bought for accordingly.
Any orders which are attempted to be delivered and not collected from post Offices or cards are not responded to will be subject to a return fee.
Any items out of stock may be replaced with an item of higher value or similar to the one ordered


We request you contact us before returning any items. Any goods returned must be in original packaging, unused, unopened, sealed with labels on. We do not accept the return of harnesses which have been opened as they are a disease risk, as are any other items which come into contact with the birds. Frozen goods and perishable foods cannot be returned.
Any items opened or without original labels and packaging will be deemed used and not open to a refund. All cages are liable to a re stocking charge if returned and the original cost of us shipping the cage will not be refuded. If an item is free deliver that is on the assumption the item is kept
Cages are to be returned to a different warehouse address, please contact us for details. cages sent back to LN9 postcode will be refused.
Postage on all orders is £5.99. This does not include Highlands, Islands and Ireland where there is a higher charge and Postcodes PA80, AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-42, PH49-50, HS1-9, IV40-52, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 will be 2-5 day delivery There may be a higher charge for cages to other postcodes
UK Mainland deliveries only.
We now deliver to all Ireland areas. Orders over £100 are discounted.
A signature is required on all deliveries. You will be notified of a 1 hour window slot on the day of delivery, if you are not in there will be a card left for you to re arrange the delivery. If you fail to do so and goods are returned to us you are liable for the initial postage and the return postage.
All Non Uk Mainland orders are priced for one box up to 30kg, anything over this will require further payment. You the customer may be charged import tax upon receipt of the goods overseas.. Scarletts are not responsible for this.

Orders will be despatched within 24 hours on the next working day providing all goods are in stock, excluding some over sized items such as cages. Should something be out of stock we will contact you to see how you wish to proceed with your order.
Orders should be recieved within 24-48 hours of despatch, although this cannot be guaranteed. Orders placed before 1pm are usually delivered next working day
All orders are sent using Secure Courier Service to ensure you receive your goods intact and on time.
Deliveries to Ireland should be allowed extra, usually within 3 working days. We do not ship cages to non Uk mainland areas and some java trees cannot be shipped to non UK Mainland areas also
All Non Uk Mainland orders are priced for one box up to 30kg, anything over this will require further payment.
Overseas delivery usually 5 working days. Frozen goods ordered after the 1pm cut off point on Thursday will be dispatched on the Monday so they do not spoil over a weekend
If you request goods to be left at a pick up point and you fail to collect them you will be liable for return costs for goods being returned to us
