Choose carefully which bird class will best suit your family, living space, and lifestyle. Pet birds need company, and they should not be left alone for long periods because they will face stress problems. Parrots also need entertainment in kind of parrot toys and treats etc. Please consider the below points before buying a bird. 

• Is any person at home during the day? 
• Do you have time and energy to give to your bird? 
• Is there any space for the right size cage?

Pet birds 

While getting or buying a bird, kindly make sure that the bird is parent-reared, not imported. Wild-caught imported birds or parrots always have a high risk of disease, and they hardly relaxed as a captive-bred bird. It would help if you got written confirmation that your bird is captive-bred and not imported. If the supplier cannot give the validation of captive breeding in your own country, then preferably do not buy this kind of bird.
